Now, l'art.
I've finally had a chance to upload everything over the weekend and semi-update my website.
Sooooo.
there are two empathy monsters there who have huge ears to listen to you when you want to talk and also, they'll zip up their own mouths when you want to talk so they won't give any unwanted advice or interrupt or say things that just make things worse. they are the best listeners ever. ;)
2. new art
now, i played around with this one in photoshop a bit. i'd love to know which of the 4 you like the most..
1. original
2. adjusted in photoshop
3. adjusted in photoshop
4. adjusted in photoshop
which do you like best? thanks!
this was done on canvas with a thick border and used lots of tissue paper to create cool textures.
close up:
i enjoy the softness of this painting.
(this last one isn't new, but i have taken better photographs of it, so sharing it again)
i love this one a lot. it shines and sparkles when light falls on it, shame you can't see that in a photograph.
3. new art journal entries
i documented the creation of the art journal entry with the swan in it in this art tutorial video on altered photography:
4. (yes, still not done yet!) - New Book Illustrations
I am illustrating for a book called 'Grace Ann' which is about a doggie with only 3 legs.
these are sketches for other chapters
mmmh, on my work machine, the colours look a bit off, gonna work on that a bit more.
so, this is possibly the biggest post in the history of the world of all blog posts evah, and i commend you if you made it all this way! :D *claps*
i'm just glad that i finally had a moment to share it all.

My favourite is the third picture - because of both the collar and the extra patterns on the dress.
ReplyDeleteYour puppets look great - I see you have sold several which is good news.
