These are wonderful! You're making me anxious for my journal to get here. I ordered one from Dick Blick, and I can't wait to get it, so I can get started. This will be my first journal. :)
These are gorgeous pages! That little bird on the purple-haired girl looks tired, poor little thing. The drawings all seem so full of love, thanks so much for the inspiration xx
Amazing! I especially love the first one. "Resurfacing"... I love the way her hair looks like it's floating, as if she's underwater and coming up for air. Gorgeous work :)
This is a comment on you in your "pregnant hippo like glory" (?). You ARE beautiful. I was only able to carry a pregnancy thru just once. I so wish I could have experienced it all again. The feeling of being so close to your child is awesome. When I had her I felt so empty and alone even tho I could hold her in my arms. I comforted myself as best I could by trying to be thankful that at least I had experienced one pregnancy. I had a friend who never even got to experience that. She has adopted children since, as have my husband and I. I am grateful for that. As for being tired, I could have lain down in the middle of a freeway at rush hour and slept! I went to sleep at work sitting up in my chair writing! I woke up with a pen mark going sideways down my paper. Enjoy these last few days. They are wonderul, as are you.
