I'm so excited about lifebook 2014 Tam. I participated in 2012 and it really helped me qith some inner isaues I was working on. This year 2013 I missed it and my year was not the same. I think lifebook is that special outlet that ine needs in their life on a regular basis. Without it this year I was so bummed and did not have many places to turn. We have iur journals yes, but lifebook is a community a family of sorts its different then doing art alone. I hope I win one of your free spots. I need lifebook for my 2014 to start off peacefully. thanks Tam for all your efforts.

After doing two of the summer classes I realise how incredibly helpful it is to do a class in order to actually get past that initial inertia. You don't even notice you've started and then voila, you've created something awesome! My new personal motto is to just DO stuff, because you can't improve unless you do and you usually only regret the things you didn't do. So that's why I'm going to be part of LB2014 (a free place would be awesome, but I will gift myself a place regardless as I think I am worth it!)
ReplyDeleteThis is such a great opportunity for anyone to receive. Life has happened, simply for everyone, but peace and hope is right at their finger tips and we all need to that continued confidence and assurance that we can have a bit of quiet time through studies like this to renew our strength, find our passion, and have a time of respite. Thank you for sharing opportunities like these for all of us and through that, we can make a difference through the lives we touch.
ReplyDeleteWould love to do Life Book 2014, life got in the way of me completing Life Book 2013, so a second chance would be awesome :) Thanks for doing this Tam x
ReplyDeleteit's my birthday today! I will take it as a good omen that you're giving the spots away today! I would love this class because I believe art is good for my soul and I would love this wonderful opportunity to to learn from you and all the other amazing teachers so I can stretch and grow and go deeper. you are an amazing teacher and I know I could use some of that for my soul. thank you for the opportunity.
ReplyDeleteI would love to win a spot in LB 2014 as I know that I need to make arty magic regularly, but I often need a little push or some inspiration to do so, and I know LB can provide that :)

ReplyDeleteMy continued volunteering objective for 2014 involves working with children & families struggling in poverty. Art provides an outlet for emotions (good & bad) I'm so pleased that I've been able to pass on many skills I've either learned or strengthen due to LB 2012 and 2013 involvement. What a thrill it would be to win enrollment for 2014. Though the main purpose for me taking LB courses has been self indulgent, I'm truly happy sharing with others, the joy and goodness I've received from LB courses. To know that these experiences I've gain effect others who may never get the chance to have direct involvement otherwise is a good sorta happy that keeps me wanting to give more!
ReplyDeleteI am so thrilled to see you continuing LifeBook Tam! I did the 2012 session and it was amazing, I did a lot of healing throughout and learned many wonderful techniques, not to mention that it took my art to a different level. I was unable to join 2013 LifeBook due to a major life change...moving 1/2 way cross the US to our new home and I have to say I really feel I missed out, my art has not been as juicy without yours and your wonderful line up of teacher's inspiring me. I'm now on a journey to recreating my own biz and I want to explore helping others in self-discovery through creativity as you do and being part of LifeBook 2014 would be a wonderful way to support my journey! Thanks sooo much for giving me an opportunity to win a spot. I can not thank you enough for opening up a whole new world to me of healing through art ♥
ReplyDeleteLife Book is a great idea. A collection of wonderful teachers and techniques. It would be wonderful to win a place and be able to join in and enjoy these awesome classes! =)
ReplyDeleteHaving to deal with so many personal issues such as an anxiety disorder and depression, I've found Life Book to be very helpful in making me feel a little more like I'm worth something. I've gotten so behind in the lessons this year, but just knowing that a group of artists is there to share with when I can is very encouraging. It would be great to win a place in Life Book 2014.
ReplyDeleteLB 2013 has been a revelation to me, in both personal and creative ways. I have improved as an artist in ways I never throught would happen, and the personal stuff that has some out has been enlightening. Even if I don't win a free spot, I'll be doing LB2014 and continuing my merry arty journey :)
ReplyDeleteI would be over the moon happy to win this opportunity. Thanks for all you do to inspire us.
ReplyDeleteI want to be part of Life Book because, for about a year now, I have been quietly following your blog, looking for a way to get started with art journaling. I have so much desire but the perfectionist in me is scared, so I have been putting it off, even though I think and dream about it every single day. I think that winning a spot in this class would give me just the push I need!
ReplyDeleteHonestly, winning is probably the only way I could participate so I'd be thrilled to win. :)
ReplyDeleteI would love to do Life Book 2014 for so very many reasons but most are very personal and I'm not open to sharing them. I am thoroughly enjoying Life Book 2013 in both the emotional exercises as well as learning so many new art techniques. The fact is, I will be participating in Life Book 2014 whether I win a spot or sign up for it myself. Either way, I win!
ReplyDeleteI would love to get back in the habit of making art!
ReplyDelete2013 was my first experience with Lifebook! Prior to signing up for 2013 I swear every blog I went to someone was referring to how wonderful it was, so why wouldn't I want to do another? Thank you, thank you!
ReplyDeleteHi Tam,

ReplyDeleteI joined LB this year, and have totally enjoyed the experience!! I was thinking that probably it would be a one off thing - you know - been there, done that! BUT THEN...You unveiled the line-up of teacher for LB 2014, and my jaw dropped!! I have admired soooo many of these new instructers - that it makes me think that perhaps LB is a way of life, not a one off! Lets hope I get lucky!!

ReplyDeleteTam - I would like to be part of Life Book 2014 for me. I make art for others both for sale for personal gifts. Time is so short that there is nothing left for me. Life Book will give me the opportunity not only to learn from artists I admire but time to recharge, regroup and just make art with no expectation, no prescription only the pleasure of making.
ReplyDeleteI took the very first Life Book and absolutely loved it. I had something new to look forward to every month....the inspiration was priceless!!
